Growing up in Massachusetts, Ryan Thomas experienced the challenges of poverty firsthand, which shaped his determination and resilience.
At just 18 years old, he embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by working as a sales agent for a lifeline and deregulated energy business. This initial path was not without obstacles. He encountered manipulation from a corporation based in New York, which operated unethically, often withholding fair pay from agents and fabricating sales reports to cheat contractors out of their earnings.
The experience fueled Ryan’s would-be passion for advocating for smaller businesses, showing them the true potential of the marketing world and ensuring they were treated fairly.
This being in his mind only marked the beginning of his ascent in the competitive world of marketing.
His journey took him to California, where he leveraged a direct offer from a T-Mobile representative to build a dynamic team. Under his leadership, Ryan grew the Lifeline program for T-Mobile, expanding its reach across the United States. He successfully hired over 100 independent contractors, empowering some to create their own businesses while securing new clients and contracts independently, aside from T-Mobile.
His remarkable growth in the industry enabled Ryan to negotiate advantageous deals and secure the best rates based on the impressive production of his company’s sales.
